Description
We are happy to invite you to a night at the cinema! Frenetic, a Swiss cinema operator, has kindly offered to host a private screening of Lukas Moodysson’s “Tillsammans 99” a sequel to his drama-comedy “Tillsammans” (“Together”) at Riffraff in Zurich.
“A group of very different individuals who in 1975 lived in a commune called “Together”. Now it is 1999, and the collective has turned into the world’s smallest. It’s time for a reunion with old friends”. imdb.com
After the movie, we will enjoy an apéro at Bistro Riffraff.
In preparation for the evening, Frenetic offers attendees a discount on viewing the original Tillsammans. We will send you a streaming link and bonus code in the coming days.
Did Tillsammans 99 accurately portray Sweden in 1999? How fair was Moodysson’s depiction of this particular section of Swedish society in 1975, and what – if any – influence did this period of significant competing norms and values have on Swedish society in 1999 and today? – Let’s discuss during the apéro!
