About

We’re delighted to invite you to our yearly holiday get-together, with special guest Pia Sundhage, who coached the Swiss Women’s National Football Team to new heights in the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025.

Pia will speak about themes applicable in both life and work: How to coach one’s team for success, how to handle failure, and how to be brave and follow one’s passions.

With a coaching career spanning over 30 years, Pia will also share her insights regarding generational differences and how to navigate the added pressures players face from social media scrutiny.

After Pia’s talk, stay for a hearty buffet inspired by the traditional Swedish Christmas table, and enjoy mingling with friends and colleagues.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Pia Sundhage

Pia Sundhage was the first woman inducted into the Swedish Football Hall of Fame. She began her career as a youth player for her hometown in 1975 and retired in the early 1990s as the top scorer for the Swedish national team.

She started her coaching career while still playing for Hammarby in the early 1990s. After retiring as a player, she went on to build an extensive coaching résumé, starting with the Boston Breakers in 2003, followed by assistant roles with the Chinese national team (2007) and the U.S. women’s national team (2008–2012), where she helped secure two Olympic gold medals. She later served as head coach of Sweden (2012–2017), leading the team to an Olympic silver medal, then managed Brazil (2019–2023), and most recently coached Switzerland (2024–2025).
