DESCRIPTION:Our 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 12 March at Signature on Bahnhofplatz.\nFollowing the Annual General Meeting, we invite you all to join us for a talk with Leif Pagrotsky, as he reflects on global change through the lens of a career spent at the heart of international politics and diplomacy.\nDrawing on his experiences, Pagrotsky will move beyond the daily news cycle to share personal perspectives on leadership, geopolitics, and the forces shaping our world today.\nAt a time when the international order is under strain and diplomacy is being tested by rapid geopolitical, economic, and technological change, this conversation invites you to consider the deeper currents shaping international affairs—and what they mean for leaders, institutions, and societies navigating this new era.\n\nSpeaker Bio\nLeif Pagrotsky is a Swedish politician and diplomat with decades of experience at the highest levels of government and international affairs. He served as a Cabinet Minister from 1996 to 2006, holding several senior portfolios including Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Education and Culture, and Minister for Nordic and Baltic Affairs.\nPagrotsky was a Member of the Swedish Parliament from 2002 to 2012, representing the Social Democratic Party. Between 2006 and 2011, he served as Vice Chairman of the Council of the Swedish Riksbank. He later became Chairman of the Board of Business Sweden in 2015, before serving as Consul General of Sweden in New York from 2016 to 2018.\nSince concluding his political career in 2018, he has remained active as an adviser, speaker, and commentator on international affairs, economic policy, and transatlantic relations, drawing on his extensive experience from public service and diplomacy.\n
